No, not me. Hannah Zold and Robin Harris – and they needed some new headshots. Hannah wanted to do these down in Shockoe Bottom, and we found this spot on the train tracks along the canal walk. Both shoots were done just at sundown.
I’m always looking for fun new places to use as a backdrop for headshots. But the place I usually end up is the alley behind the Empire Theatre. I did these for Drew Seigla last Saturday morning. This is also where I took Chase Kniffen’s headshots a few years back.
I got up Saturday morning and met Jen Meharg at 9:00 at Belle Isle. I’m glad we went early because it got hot fast! However, we had a great time (and lots of exercise) walking all over the island and then down the street to Tredegar Iron Works. Here are a few shots I liked.
I did some headshots last night for Jil Wilson-Robinson. We’ve both lived here for 20+ years, but for some reason our paths have never crossed. It was great to meet her and we had a really nice time. I don’t know which pictures she’ll decide to use, but these were a couple of my favorites.
