I ventured up to Libbie Hill Park one morning to photograph this cutie-pie and her lovely parents. I hadn’t been up there in a long time. What a great spot!

I had a delightful afternoon way out in Salisbury (yes, that’s way out for this city girl) with Leslie Wiles and her collie, Tess. Tess is a rescue dog, and was in quite a bad way when Leslie got to her. But she’s turned out to be the one who does rescuing – or at least does the comforting. She’s now a therapy dog and works with terminally ill patients. She’s an exceptional dog, but she’s getting up there in years, and Leslie wanted to be sure to get some photos that show what a special relationship they have. This was one of my favorites.

I spent a few hours with my sister and her kids last weekend. I hadn’t seen them since before Christmas (I’m such a loser), so I finally took Dominic his pirate costume (thanks, Lisa!).

We also needed to remedy a minor crisis for Emma. How adorable is she?
(Who needs a stinkin’ school picture?)

I didn’t expect to get this one, but I’m sure glad I did! It’s getting framed!

The Solomon/Sanford family was home from California for a while in April and got together with the Alley/Schaum family for Norborne’s birthday and a little family photo shoot. Here are some (a lot) of my favorites.

I’ve been talking about creating a blog for my photos for quite some time now, and since Erin Thomas asked if there was a place that I had some family portraits online (I have some on webshots, but it’s getting hung up on me), I decided this was the time. I’ll make it prettier later, but for now, here are some of my favorites:
