I took these photos for David and Kim Clark the day before Mother’s Day. (Incidentally, I got a tick bite the next day that is still itchy!!! But that’s another story. Nevermind.). Anyway… They seem like two nice, normal children, don’t they? If you knew their parents, you would wonder how in the world that happened. (I’ll explain in the next post.)

Today is my nephew’s 12th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MICHAEL! Last month, Laurie, Michael, and I went to Philly to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. I’m not sure who had more fun on the soccer field – Michael or my dad.

That was my Facebook status a few days ago when I realized that I hadn’t posted one thing since I went to Amy’s in May. It’s not like I have nothing to blog about. I’ve done two weddings, 14 headshot sessions, 1 senior session, production photos for “Moon Over Buffalo,” and took a trip to New York! But since all of that isn’t going to happen today, here’s a picture of Lily that I took over the weekend.

I spent a few hours with my sister and her kids last weekend. I hadn’t seen them since before Christmas (I’m such a loser), so I finally took Dominic his pirate costume (thanks, Lisa!).

We also needed to remedy a minor crisis for Emma. How adorable is she?
(Who needs a stinkin’ school picture?)

I didn’t expect to get this one, but I’m sure glad I did! It’s getting framed!

Children’s Photographer {Fairy Tale Ball} – Richmond, VA

This was my fifth year taking photos for Theatre IV’s Fairy Tale Ball. It’s a great fundraiser! The Empire is decorated in the style of the upcoming show, the kids are all dressed up in either fancy clothes or costumes, there’s food, drink, and dancing, and everyone has a fabulous time! I basically spend the night following children around and snapping their pictures. Here are a few of my favorites from this year.

I’ve had a ton of headshot sessions over the past few weeks. That is often the case when a musical is in rehearsal at Theatre IV. The Sound of Music is opening tomorrow night. I did photos for three nuns and one of the Von Trapp children.

Cooper’s Headshots

My friends Dave and Holly have a kid who’s likely headed to Broadway one of these days. He was up in New York last week and landed himself an agent who asked about getting some new pictures, specifically a serious headshot. This was one of the ones that I liked right away.

This one is for our local modeling/talent agency. They wanted full body.

And this one was for me.
