More snow?

I was looking back at a post from last year where I said we hadn’t gotten any snow in about nine years. Now we’re expecting our third storm in 2 months! Here are a few photos from last weekend’s. You should have seen me nearly hip-deep at the overpass on I-195 to get the shot of the train yard!

I’ve got about six months of blog material to catch up on, but we got about a foot of snow here in Richmond this weekend and I figured I would post this while it’s still on the ground.

We had a leak at our water meter about a month ago. A crew from the city came and fixed the leak, but they left a huge mound of gravel where they had dug up the sidewalk. They also left this cone, so I assumed they would be back to repave the sidewalk. Well, as you can see, they still haven’t come back, so we’ve worked the cone into our Christmas decorations.

I’m not usually excited by snow. I really don’t like the cold. But it’s been about nine years since we’ve actually had any of the white stuff, so I decided enjoy it. The dogs enjoyed it, too!

Even Alice, who usually HATES to be wet!
